Solid wood fireplace mantel made in a traditional style.

These mantels are made of solid pine or alder. They have a classic and timeless style that will compliment any decor. They are unfinished and sanded smooth, ready for you to paint or stain.

They come ready to hang, and installation is easy, using a French Cleat, which is built into the back of the mantel. All you have to do is bolt one part of the cleat to the wall and then slip the mantel over the top of it. Pair the mantel with two of my custom corbels for a beautiful focal point in the home. Corbels are sold separately.

Each mantel shelf is made to order and will vary in wood characteristics and color. Some knots and variation in color will be present. I will sand the mantel smooth to 150 grit. Additional sanding will be necessary for staining or other fine finishes.
